Indian Falls Hike
The Indian Falls hiking trail in DeSoto State Park is short and well worth the hike. There are multiple ways to get to the base of Indian Falls and a short hike past Indian Falls takes you to a beautiful view of Little River.
To hike to Indian Falls, park in the 2nd trailhead parking area past the Country Store. This is the same parking area for The Boardwalk hike.
You’ll cross the road at the Pedestrian Crossing sign and follow the Indian Falls signs to get to the hiking path.
After making the turn around the corner of the fence, the path will end at a T in the road. You can go left or right from here and follow a path to the base of Indian Falls.
Take a moment to enjoy the sights and sounds of Indian Falls.
After enjoying Indian Falls, from the T in the path at the top of the falls, cross the bridge and follow the orange trail markers a short way down the hill to Little River. It’s a short hike and worthwhile. Once you make it to Little River, explore a few side paths and enjoy the view.
