The Hatter Cafe is one of Mentone’s newest restaurant additions and provides the perfect quirky fun atmosphere for your breakfast, brunch or lunch outing.
Fun and Quirky Atmosphere
As you can imagine from their sign, The Hatter Cafe is an Alice in Wonderland themed restaurant with a creative and fun atmosphere to start your day.

It was a busy day when we visited The Hatter Cafe so I didn’t take many pictures. I can assure you that the theming will not disappoint. If you are an Alice in Wonderland fan, you will not want to miss it for sure!
Breakfast, Brunch, & Lunch
The Hatter Cafe is open Thursday - Monday 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Central Time). Our family visited for brunch and a great time was had by all.
In addition to breakfast, brunch, and lunch, they also have a full tea menu and serve specialty coffee.
The dishes they serve the beautiful meals on hold a special place in my heart. The dishes are an antique pattern called Desert Rose and is the same pattern I chose for our dishes when we got married. It’s large colorful pink flowers and green vine accents along with the crocheted doilies and cloth napkins with unique rings add to the unique theming of the restaurant.
Our Brunch
The food we ordered was delicious and was displayed beautifully on the dishes. The portions were great for the girls, but could be considered small by big eaters. My husband and teenage son enjoyed their meal, but they did need a snack sooner than the rest of us afterwards. We all loved the memories we made at our time at The Hatter Cafe.
